The SIYHA Barn

As you begin getting your players ready for the upcoming season, I wanted to remind everyone about the Sharks Equipment Barn and the resources available to our families.

The Equipment Barn has been inventoried and is a great resource for reducing the cost of hockey while giving good, usable equipment a second life. Before purchasing new gear, take a moment to double-check the fit of your player’s current equipment and reach out if they have outgrown something or if you have a specific equipment need.

We currently have several chest protectors, hockey shorts, shin pads, and elbow pads, as well as a limited number of small-size gloves. We also have a selection of good-quality skates in smaller sizes. I will also be accepting outgrown equipment as either a trade or donation, as long as the equipment is in usable condition.

If your player needs something, please reach out to me directly with the item needed and your player’s size. I can check our inventory and let you know if we have a potential match, and we can arrange a time to meet if we do.

My goal is to make the Equipment Barn a helpful resource for Sharks families and to help make hockey a little more affordable for everyone. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — even if you’re not sure whether we have what you need, I’m happy to check!
