LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY IN INDIANAPOLIS
Sharks Hockey School is the perfect way to get your skater started with youth hockey in Indianapolis and Central Indiana. Designed specifically for beginners, our Learn to Play hockey program introduces kids to the game in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment.
Our experienced coaches focus on skating fundamentals, puck control, balance, and teamwork, helping new players build confidence and feel comfortable on the ice. With age-appropriate instruction and a strong emphasis on fun, Sharks Hockey School is an ideal first step for families looking for a beginner hockey program near Indianapolis.
At the end of this 4-week Learn to Play program, participants will earn a Sharks Hockey School Certificate of Completion and be ready to take the next step in their hockey journey.

This is ideally for new hockey players ages 4-10. Older players can attend as well, but the majority of enrollees will be the younger ages. *Baseline skating skills necessary
Sharks Hockey School - Learn to Play: Session 1 (Oct 19-Nov 9)
Fall 2026 Sharks Hockey -School Learn to Play will be a 4 week session teaching introduction to hockey skills. Cost will be $100. This program is best suited for newer hockey players ages 4-10. *Baseline skating skills necessary

- Players new to the Sharks can get a FREE Bauer starter gear kit.
- USA Hockey number registration required for registration
Full hockey equipment is required, and must include helmet, neck guard, and mouthguard.
